Overview
No it's not a futuristic concept vehicle you'd see at an international auto show. But with its advanced forward-thinking style and design it might just as well be. It's the all-new Flex. Flex's all-black greenhouse design with privacy glass on the 2nd- and 3rd-row windows and liftgate seamlessly ties together the body with the roof. The 3.5L Duratec V6 that powers Flex features dual overhead cams activating four valves per cylinder with advanced variable-cam timing technology generating 262 horsepower and 248 pound feet of torque. This advanced V6 is mated to an equally advanced 6-speed automatic transmission. Every Flex comes with 1st-row bucket seats 2nd-row 60/40 split bench seat and 3rd-row 50/50 split bench seat for 7-passenger seating. Available in the Flex is Ford's industry-exclusive hands-free SYNC Communications and Entertainment System.
